Weiner Dog Racing highlights
Did miss the Bluffton Street Fair 2009 Weiner Dog Races? With BPD Officer Dennis Fiscus as host, the event brought laughs and more than a few cute moments as dogs did their best to figure out which way to run when their owners said "go!"
Bluffton Street Fair Cornhole Tournament
This was the first year for the Bluffton Street Fair Cornhole Tournment, but judging by the response from competitors, it won't be the last...
Tournament organizer Todd Shalley said he hopes to bring the event back for the Bluffton Street Fair 2010.
The winners of the Bluffton Free Street Fair Cornhole Tournament are Ben Baker and Gabe Whitesteive here is todd Shalley presenting them with 300$- 2nd was won by Doug and Sandy Williams they won 150$--- 3rd place was won by Trevor Butt and Aaron Buckland they won 50$. (Submitted Photo)

Josh Grubbs' popular fundraising booth, Sports Blast USA, was a busy stop at this year's Bluffton Street Fair. Young and old alike stopped by to test their pitching speeds for the benefit of Northern Wells Girls Softball. Top baseball pitching speeds for the week were as follows.

Horse and Pony Show Award Winners
The Horse and Pony Show during the Bluffton Street fair is a great time to visit with some wonderful folks down at the Wells County 4-H Fairgrounds. They have some well-trained and exquisite animals on display and don't mind answering a few questions about them.

This is Paul Schweiterman, winner of the "Good Time Charlie Award". This is presented to an adult that loves to have a good time and is not afraid to show it.
This is Mackenzie Toliver, winner of the "Little Buckaroo Award". This is presented to the best Little Cowboy or Cowgirl under the age of 10 that has an animal stalled at the fair.
This is Aubrey Kobryn, winner of the "Casey Biberstine Memorial Award". This is presented to the boy or girl between the ages of 10 - 18 who has an animal stalled at the fair that displays the same fun-loving attitude that Casey always had.

Idol contest draws BIG crowd
At times the rain came down like a tsunami, but the couple hundred folks that gathered for the Bluffton Street Fair Idol contest were perfectly content watching the show, despite the rain.
I can't wait for next year...hopefully the weather will be a little dryer.
D.A.R.E. Car Bash raises big bucks!
As we stuff our mouths with fried Twinkies and funnel cakes, let's not forget to thank the law enforcement officers who work extra hours during Bluffton Street Fair to keep us all safe.

Little Buckaroo Show
With all the Bluffton Street fair excitement downtown, don't miss the show at the Wells County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Tonight is the Little Buckaroo Show (for riders 9 and under) which starts at 6:30 p.m.
All the horse stalls at the fairgrounds have been beautifully decorated and the riders are ready to go....don't miss it!

Bluffton Street Fair Idol auditions
Ace Reporter Frank Shanly was on-hand for the Bluffton Street Fair Idol preliminary competition held Friday night at Life Community Church.
