Horse and Pony Show Award winners!
Here is the winner of the"Hall of Fame Award (In memory of John Close)": John Hofstetter. The beautiful custom-made mirror was created and donated by Charles Lamons of Bluffton.
Here are the two winners of the Showmanship Awards: Sue Campbell (halter/showmanship division) and Godoy Tosh (pleasure/horsemanship division).
This is the winner of the "Best of Show". This award goes to the Overall Champion of all breeds shown in the Halter division of the Show. The winner: Sue Campbell, showing her mare "Rugged Miss Dee Bar", aka "Missy".

* "Little Buckaroo Award" - Presented to the best Little Cowboy or Cowgirl under the age of 10 that has an animal stalled at the fair.
* "Casey Biberstine Memorial Award" - Presented to the boy or girl between the ages of 10 - 18, who has an animal stalled at the fair, that displays the same fun-loving attitude that Casey always had.
* "Good Time Charlie Award" - Presented to an adult that loves to have a good time and is not afraid to show it.
* Sportsmanship & Stall Decorations Awards - Presented to the participants that decorate and keep his/her stalls clean and shows great sportsmanship throughout the week.
* Showmanship Awards - Two individuals chosen by the judge that has portrayed exceptional showmanship/horsemanship skills during the Halter & Pleasure Show.
* Hall of Fame Award (in memory of John Close) - presented to an individual that has given years of dedication to the Street Fair Saddle Horse Division.

A video crew from Bearcreek Farms that helps produce segments for RFD-TV was at the Street Fair office Friday morning interviewing 100th fair chair Rhonda Ryan and fair board president Jon Brown, who dressed in their period clothes for the occasion. Krissy Imel, left, conducted the interview while Kitty Coyne was behind the camera. They were working on stories for next season's programming for RFD-TV, which is a cable channel targeted at rural issues and available to more than 40 million cable television subscribers throughout the United States. The 100th Bluffton Street Fair Industrial Parade had hundreds of folks handing out dozens and dozens or goodies. The crowd received everything from balloons to jars of peanut butter during the hour-long event.

Grand Marshals meet at House of Hope
Entertainment Editor Barbara Barbieri attended the 100th Bluffton Street fair Grand Marshal reception at House of Hope earlier this week.

Horse and Ponies at the 4-H Park!
Don't forget the Horse and Pony show at the Wells County 4-H Fairgrounds this week. They have had some cool events there including the Little Buckaroo Show, Costume Class and a chili supper. Tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. they will present the Horse & Pony Awards. Stop by and check out the beautiful stall decorations and visit with the riders and their mounts.
