Marching Band Parade of Stars

Our gratitude to all the school bands who traveled to our fair city for our annual Bluffton Street Fair.
Great job to everyone involved!

Some Random Street Fair Pics

Walking around the Bluffton Street Fair this week I am bombarded with images of family and friendship.
And let's not forget FUN!

4-H Park active all day long

If you haven't already made it to the 4-H park you really should consider it. Everyone there is very friendly; the kids (and adults) are all working real hard to put on a great show and it's fun to be around the horses.
Makalah Tullis, 13, was out walking her horse, Contessa, this afternoon. Contessa was born at home, well, in the barn, but Tullis missed the entire thing.
"We were sleeping when she was born," she said. "When we got up the next day, there she was."

Don't Miss Pizzazz at the Fair tonight

Caught up with the members of Pizzazz rehearsing for their performance tonight. They were performing "Take me out to the Street Fair" very lively and they sounded great!
Don't miss them. The show starts 7:30 at the stage on W. Washington.

Tower of Bluffton a Temporary Landmark

Here's a close-up view of the new addition to the downtown Bluffton
skyline. From a distance, it looks as if someone added a sky scraper to
the historical brick buildings. Some Blog readers wondered what that
thing was pointing toward the sky near the hospital...sorry to
disappoint, but it's just a ride.

Antique Car Show Parade Starts Soon

Don't miss this years antique car parade. Word is, the local fire department's refurbished Stutz Fire Engine will be leading the way. Don't miss it! Cars are lining Main Street even as I type these words.

More Parade Pictures

As I get more photos I'll be sure to pass them along to you. These photos and cutlines are compliments of Editor Dave Schultz.
